Aubrey + Adam’s Wedding
These two lovebirds got married on May 24, 2025. Their wedding day was short, sweet, and simple. A gazebo wedding at Centennial Park in Holland, MI.
I started the day with Aubrey and her bridesmaids at the Air Bnb her parents rented for the weekend. Here there were florals being assembled by her mom’s best friends, last touches of makeup being applied, and the girls hopping into their dresses. It was a classic wedding morning scene; a bunch of excitement and giddiness mixed with some stress and chaos.
Next we headed to Centennial Park for Aubrey and Adam’s first look, private vows, couples’ portraits, and wedding party portraits. One thing I loved is that they wanted their private vows to be truly private. Once I captured their first look, I immediately walked away to give the two of them some space to be alone together. Just a good reminder that a wedding day should always be about the bride and groom and what they want.
The ceremony was short and sweet, officiated by one of Aubrey’s mom’s best friends. Everyone celebrated with hugs, smiles, and bubbles for a moment before we got into family portraits in the park.
We ended up having a 30 minute chunk of extra time after knocking out family photos incredibly swiftly. The two asked me if I could follow them to their favorite cookie spot, Bowerman’s on 8th, for a pre-dinner snack. The answer was of course a “heck yeah.”
People, I wish you could taste these cookies through your screen. They’re worth every bit of hype & I’m currently debating on immediately hopping in the car & driving to Holland to grab one. (Thanks for the bite, Aubrey.)

It always feels bittersweet to hit send on a final wedding gallery. In most cases I have been in contact and working with a couple for 6-18 months leading up to their wedding day. Once their gallery is finished it feels like saying goodbye to such a beautiful love story. I’m so grateful to have played a role in this one from their freezing cold engagement session to their perfect spring wedding day.
