What to Expect from Your Sneak Peeks

Kate and Keanu, August 24th, 2025. A day filled with memories of loved ones, Hawaiian culture, and most of all love.

I wanted to share an example of what I typically deliver for sneak peeks after a wedding day. In this particular case, the client was promised 20 sneak peeks within 48 hours of their wedding day. I delivered 49 photos to them the day after their wedding (Sunday wedding, they received their previews on Monday). This number does not include additional black and white copies of select photos.

When I deliver previews of a wedding day, I try to include a variety of key moments throughout the day as well as a few photos that really caught my eye as I first went through them. It can be so challenging for me to narrow down my selections— I get excited about many of the photos from a wedding day. But, to me, the point of sneak peeks is to satisfy the craving to see wedding photos right away, provide enough for the client(s) to make a post on social media if they wish, all without spoiling too many surprises for the delivery of the final gallery.

These specific previews are a great example of an impossibly tough time narrowing things down. This wedding day was so emotional. Both the bride and groom have lost their fathers. There was an incredibly large space held in the room for both dads. They were certainly present in spirit, and honored in so many ways throughout the day— seats reserved for them at the ceremony, photos of them on the heaven table with their favorite drinks to cheers, words shared during vows and speeches, and space held during dance formalities. I would have loved to share all of these beautiful emotional photos in the previews, but, some need to be saved for the full gallery.

Below is the full set of sneak peeks that were delivered to Kate and Keanu. Enjoy!
