Chelsea + Parker
Boy do I love my clients and their referrals. I met Chelsea & Parker through Gabbie, who is no stranger to being in front of my camera. (See her blueberry field photos, her in-home maternity photos, her birth story, and her fresh 48 photos) Referrals are the greatest gift that can be given to a photographer in my opinion. You’re literally saying “I love her and her work, I think you’ll love her too.” Thank you. I appreciate you.
Chelsea & Parker are getting married in August of 2026. We did their engagement session in late spring of 2025 so that they could use their photos for their save-the-dates, wedding website, social media, etc. They chose Rosy Mound for their photos because both of them love going there. They told me while we were there that both of them were runners in high school and frequented the loop on their morning runs.
The day we went was very overcast and windy, but the two of them braved the brisk air like champs. While nice golden/sunny blue skies and 70 degree weather is always the dreamiest, overcast days and wind can both make for some great photos. Overcast skies provide nice even lighting— no worries about which way you’re facing, we don’t have any harsh light that we’re avoiding. And wind can be so fun for a playful couple that’s willing to make the most of it.

I have to say, my absolute favorite photos from this session are when Parker puts on his hat. Something about the t-shirt, rolled up jeans, and hat combo really opened up his personality. I told Chelsea maybe she should consider letting him wear a hat on their wedding day to get the best photos! ;)

I’m super stoked to have now had the chance to photograph all three of the Green siblings and their partners; Gabbie, Brok, and now Parker. It’s so fun to follow a family and their big life events. Thank you all for trusting me with your memories <3
