Zoe + Nate’s Wedding
Zoe and Nate’s wedding day was June 7th, 2025. It was a day filled with their favorite people who surrounded them with some serious love. The couple chose New Era Wedding Barn as their venue.
The venue is about an hour drive from Grand Rapids, MI. It features beautiful rolling hills as the backdrop with a beautiful tree that provides a great shade spot on a sunny, hot day for first looks, private vows, a first touch, and formal portraits. I was so grateful for this because the sun was quite harsh that day!
There was so much to love about their big day but I want to highlight my two favorite details:
Zoe’s custom Chaco’s. She had them customized with their wedding date sewn into the strap. She wore these bad boys all day long, and I bet it was the comfiest a bride’s feet have ever felt on her wedding day. Definitely my favorite bridal shoes I’ve ever seen.
Grand Entrances. Nate and Zoe really wanted their wedding party to go all out for their grand entrances. To acheive this, they announced that grand entrances would be a competition with their wedding guests being the judges. After putting it to a vote, the winning bridesmaid and groomsmen won a gift card for their performance. I loved this idea SO much. It was a great way to get everyone involved and set the tone for the rest of their evening.

There’s no way I can upload every single photo from their wedding day to this post, but I have picked a collection of photos that tell the story of their day including the best and happiest moments. Enjoy!

Getting married? I would love to be your photographer.
I take a documentary approach to my work, focusing on candid photos. My goal is to be a fly-on-the-wall as much as I can during your wedding day to capture as many organic moments as possible. As you reflect back on your wedding photos, I want you to remember your big day as the fun and emotional day that you lived. Not the day that you spent worrying about posing for the camera all day.
If this sounds like your vibe, please reach out!
